Easter Party 2012
We held a lovely Easter party for the Rainbows and Brownies in the holidays.
Approximately 20 of the girls turned up and enjoyed an egg hunt, making Easter nest cakes with Jennifer ,a pop up Easter card with Janet Mason and beating a pinyata donkey into submission!
Mums, dads, grandparents, etc arrived at 4pm for the Easter bonnet parade and tea and cakes. The bonnets which the girls had made the previous week were all so nice that we couldn’t possibly have chosen a winner. Thanks to Janet Mason for the activity and for all the families who supported us.
We also held a similar party at the Karate club but the children made bonnets and sun visors and decorated glasses. They also enjoyed an egg hunt but they had to karate kick the pinyata rather than beat it! The kids enjoyed fish and chips and the parents enjoyed cheese and wine – a nice night was had by all!!
Although there is a waiting list for rainbows, we have vacancies in brownies for girls aged 7 to 10 and in karate for all children aged 5 to 16.
