There will be a Craft Fair at the Community Centre Saturday 11th May from 11.00am till 1.00pm to include :- Garden ornaments, Jewellery, Face Painting, Decoupage, Fabric Gifts, Card Making, Tea/coffee and cakes please support this if you are able to and it can become a regular monthly event.

The potential improvements to the street’s environment and overall appearance are proposed by Dudley Council and will be used to form future funding bids.The council has already secured funding for traffic safety enhancements in the area, which would provide greater provision for people who walk and cycle around the High Street.
Following last year’s success we are holding again a Party to celebrate Chinese New Year. Games and activities, snacks and gifts for the children, refreshments and chat for the parents, Jilly Jellybean will be face painting again and modelling with balloons.
The Quarry Bank Youth Club meets on Thursday evening from 7.30 until 9.00. Ages 8 to 18 are welcome, over 18 volunteer helpers are needed. We have pool, table tennis, Wii, Xbox, cooking, tuck shop music etc, Chillax, plus much more, come along and meet new friends, 50p entrance. Call in to register, Leaders are CRB cleared.
The Thursday Library coffee morning held at the Community Centre on 27th September raised a fabulous total of £200! this was for Macmillan Support who had suggested a national coffee morning to help those in need of their support.
Saturday 13th of October 11am till 1pm. There will be combined Table Craft and Bric a Brac fair at Quarry Bank Community Centre, Sheffield Street. If successful this will be a regular event, refreshments – Crafts – Bric a Brac – something for everyone - see you there!
Students from the Oaks Project paid a visit to Community Centre and joined in the Library Coffee Morning, Chris gave a short presentation about the achievements of the students and his aspirations for the future.
The Congregational Church, High Street Quarry Bank, invite you to their Autumn Coffee Morning – Saturday 15th September from 10.00am until 12.oonoon – bring and but stall. All proceedings in aid of the ladies class project for 2012.(Mary Stevens hospice & the Midland Air Ambulance)
A Fashion Show by Next One Fashions was held on the 10th September at the Community Centre Quarry Bank in aid of Christ Church Building Fund. It was a very enjoyable and profitable night as £250 was raised for the Fund. A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who came and to everyone who helped in any way, including raffle prizes donated. A special ‘thank you’ to Julie Bate from Sainsbury’s Withymoor for donating a £10 Sainsbury’s voucher. It was chosen by our first ticket winner. There was lots of trying on and I hope everyone managed to grab a bargain.
1st Quarry Bank Christ Church Rainbows & Brownies visited Dudley Zoo during the school holidays, accompanied by Mums, 1 Dad and various siblings the weather was great and we had 6 hrs of fun – we plan to visit again next year
